Hi friends,

Can some one tell me which Reset IC can be used for LPC2214 of 1.8V.

An Engineer's Guide to the LPC2100 Series

In most cases you can just use an RC pair to give a suitable delay large
enough to handle almost all cases, unless you really need the reset IC.

Some LDOs, such as the Micrel MIC5206, has a flag output that goes low if
its output voltage isn't OK. This can be tied to /RESET in addition to the
RC pair, to give a clean reset in case of brownout.

I use the LTC1985ES5-1.8, this monitors both the 3.3v and 1.8v supply.
Look Linear Technologies website for datasheet (http://www.linear.com).

BTW, the LTC1985 allows you to add a push button for the reset. :-)

Hi Tom,

Any idea of the costing for the IC LTC1985 and do u know of any Reset IC for just 1.8V and not 3 voltages.

Jerome
