Re: Virtual USB project example for Keil

Started by Xavier Strong March 28, 2008
Thanks for the interest John G - man I am stuck.

The example seems to be targeted for a LPC2368 I am using an LPC2148. I don't know enough about the LPC2368 do you think is will be compatible?

If it is, other than chaning the target device and the include LPC2XXX.h should there be anthing else I would be concerned with - i.e. PCLK, or system clock?

Thanks

X,

I am using Keil uVision3 v3.20 and found a working Virtual COM example
in the C:\Keil\ARM\ Boards\Keil\ MCB2300\USBCDC folder.

The example bridges the USB and COM1 ports, but looks like it can be
stripped down fairly easily.

Regards,

John G.

Subject: [lpc2000] Virtual USB project example for Keil

Does anyone have or know of where I can find a USB project example for
the Keil tool. The example on the NXP website does not work with newer
Keil compliers. What I need is to be able to send data back and forth
between the PC (hyper-terminal) and the micro. A single byte at a time
is all I need - no need to buffer anything, ACK, or NAK anything. Just
be able to send and receive a byte in both directions between hyper-
terminal and the micro's USB.

Thanks
