Using the DP83640 transceiver and the IEEE-1588 Precision Time Protocol

NXP LPC2xxx lacks the IEEE-1588 hw support, so we are evaluating this new transceiver instead of the standard DP83848I.
Has any of you used the DP83640?
Is there a software example of the IEEE-1588 PTP that runs on an LPC2xxx?
