LPC2103 / SSD1928 Digital Photo Frame

Started by robe...@sulley.net February 4, 2010
Hi Everyone,

I'm presently messing around with a digital photo frame running an
LPC2103 and an SSD1928 Controller.

Everything is going well with the LPC2103 - after I found out that you
have to add the 'STARTUP_ON_RESET' postprocessor directive in
CrossStudio!! But I am struggling with the initialisation of the
SSD1928 and LCD, no matter what I do I just get multicoloured lines
down the screen!

Anyway, I found this website:

http://www.omnima.co.uk

They sell an identical photo frame with custom code and on this page:

http://www.omnima.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic

They state:

'A full demo project for the LPC2103 including initialisation code for
the type of the LCD supplied (OmnimaLCDSrcDemo.zip) is available to
customers after purchasing the LCD.'

I've contacted them by email to see if they would sell/give me the
code without buying the frame, but I've had no response as yet. I
wondered if anyone on here had a copy of this code they could give me,
or alternatively any pointers on correct initialisation of the SSD1928.
Thanks,

Rob

It looked interesting so I've ordered one from them. I should be able to
let you have the code.

Don't worry, it's the same as the TechToys one here:

http://www.techtoys.com.hk/ARM_boards/LPC2103_Eval_1A/LPC2103_Eval_1A.htm

Code available, just download...

I have one, and I have the Tech Toys one too. Unfortunately the Omnima has
a non-standatd JTAG pitch and the USB power supply I hacked off.

I'll make a little adapter PCB for the JTAG when I get mine. What is the
pin spacing?
