This should help:

I have not used these, so YMMV.

Maybe Leon knows about these.

I also wondered why the heck is this $150?

Because that's the price they set for it?

but i dont consider its worth that price. its my opinion but look at the facts... its slower and doesnt work on linux... most USB tools are faster and do work on linux and can be had for about 1/3 of the price...

That's OK. Nobody is forcing you, or anyone else, to buy it.

linux...

For downloading, yes it can be slower into RAM. But if you're flashing a
device, the bottleneck is the flash programming. It has zero latency, which
is a major when in debugging--it's ultra-responsive, unlike USB devices
which have the 1ms turn-around time.

The wiggler works on Linux to; we made it do that. As for USB being faster,
probably only for downloading, but the wiggler is much snappier when
debugging.

Nice features, but iffn you dont got no parallel port, whaddya do? (translation of 'Merkun slang for those, like Paul, across the pond: If, however, your computer lacks a parallel port, what can you do to utilize those features?)

Why not plug one in on a PCI card? They're about $15.
