ADC not working after power down

Started by Tim Mitchell February 13, 2014
I'm trying to write an application using the "power down" mode of the LPC1754.

The ADC works fine before I invoke power down.

When the device wakes up, I cannot get the ADC to work again, despite re-initialising it from scratch. All other peripherals and interrupts seem to be working.

It's driving me slightly bonkers, does anyone have any ideas?

Hit it with a hammer? Send it a peripheral reset?

Hi Mitchell

Are you using the on chip PLL ?

Yes, I'm re-enabling the PLL after power down, that is working.

I think I am close to finding the answer, it is something to do with clearing the PDN bit of the ADC module before going into power down mode.
