LPC2214: D16-D31 pins available as user I/O?

Hi,

are the Pins D16 - D31 available as user I/O while my external memory
interface is enabled as configured as 16Bit interface?

An Engineer's Guide to the LPC2100 Series

Yes, you can use D16 - D31 as GPIO if you use only 16 bits as data bus.
You can also use some address pins as GPIO if you do not need a large
external address space.
All this is explained in Chapter 8: PIN CONNECT BLOCK of the User Manual
(http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/acrobat/usermanauls/UM_LPC2114_2124_2212_2214_2.pdf).
The data and address bus are configured with the PINSEL2 register.
