[OT] GPS Modules?

Started by merapcb September 23, 2009
Can anyone recommend a GPS module with a relatively small footprint? Also, are there any GPS modules that have a I2C interface? Thanks.

Beginning Microcontrollers with the MSP430

The AMY-5M from u-blox is claimed to be the smallest available. It has a DDC
interface (I2C compliant).

Hello!

There are a few here (all come with MSP430 source code, but they don't have an I2C
interface. UART only). :

There is also one model giving 5 updates per second (usually 1).
