PAN1323 on MSP-Experiment Board 5438A

Started by John December 28, 2012
Hi all,

I have a MSP-Experiment board and a PAN1323 development board attached. I am trying to find a software to run the Bluetooth Stack on it but I cannot find any. I am assuming that TI must have a demo software. Any comment would be appreciated.

Thanks,

John.

Beginning Microcontrollers with the MSP430

On the PAN1323EMK page they (TI) propose two MSPs for the Bluetooth demo, but certainly you can use one of them and a PC. They write: "Users may download the Bluetooth software named MSP430+CC2560 Software Development Kit (SDK) which includes Mindtree's Ethermind Bluetooth stack, serial port profile (SPP) and embedded sample applications running on Free RTOS." Good luck!
Thank you for your reply. I am not trying to be lazy. Would you please email me the link where I can download the software that I can communicate with PC through my experiment board.

High Regards,

john.
MSP430+CC2560 isn't working.
You may not be 'trying to be lazy' but you are doing a good job of it

You can try here:

Thank you for your help regarding the software package but the site that that you referred it indicates that the software is obsolete,

MindTree EtherMind™ Bluetooth Stack and SDKStatus:OBSOLETE
MT-BT-SDK

Any comment please?

Thanks,

John.
Hi Kyle,

Thanks for the help but did you get what you were looking for?

John.
I just tried to give you a little push, because sometimes i need one myself.

But apparently you did not read the page i gave you and you did not obtain the download. In that page you could find the download link you were asking for. That link worked today, i mean if they give you the download. I had to agree to certain export regulations before getting it.

Bluetooth technology IS complicated. I remember looking through hundreds of pages of definitions and specs. You will need months of intensive work to get into this, it's no good toy.
Thank you for the push I do appreciate it.

High Regards,

John.
