On May 1, 2014, I ordered the following from the TI eStore, it shipped the
next day (to Florida, USA) and I received it May 6, 2014:

MSP-BNDL-FR5969LCD - MSP430FR5969 LaunchPad Evaluation Kit with Sharp Memory
LCD BoosterPack Bundle

The price for the bundle, at that time, was $22.98 ($19.99 + $12.99 - $10.00
discount). It is now advertised at $29.99, but out of stock, expected to be
available on June 24. They state that the MSP-EXP430FR5969 LaunchPad is not
available standalone at this time (and I don't think is ever has been!).

You might check with your distributor(s) to see if/when they might have the
bundle.

Thanks Jim, but I am chasing the actual chip and not in sample quantities.
No distributor has any stock and TI only offer sample quantities.

TI seems to be having some difficulties getting *all* of their FRAM parts
out the door. The last round of parts were in limbo for a good two years
between samples and production.
