BSX2 with ADC

Hi to all
I'm using basic stamp 2sx(24pin) and 2 parallel adc's (adc0820)
My problem is that I want to read the parallel output of the adc's
using the BSX2
Without using a shift regester and with out doing a for..loop knowing
where is the msb and lsb.and I don't want to use a serial adc.
I want to read it as a port like the ones that are on the pic (port
A ,port B)
Is ther any way to do it ..or a betar solution than the ones that I
have..:)

Are you looking to replace the stuff you have now, or to get it all
to work differently that it does ? The 0820 is a low quality ADC being a 8 bit device. most on-board
PIC ADC inputs are 10 bit or better. so you can bring those two
devices together as one PIC chip. Check Digi-key, search
microcontroller, then select microchip, then your ADC needs, then
package size. should show you what is available.

as far as getting higher accuracy without using msb..lsb maybe one of
our software guru's can offer some suggestions ? of course, you
cannot use PBasic on a standard (non-parallax) PIC. But, on the other hand, if you want to stay in the BasicStamp, then
