WIsp628 + 12F675 -> unable to "go" or erase

Started by GUILLAUME SAUPIN July 2, 2004
Hello,

I do not manage anymore to "go" or erase one of my 12F675 since I have
configured the gp0 pin as an output.
The chip still works, but there is no way to erase it, or read its
content, ...
I'm using a wisp628 (which work with another 12F675).

Is there a way to erase or reprogram my 12F675, or must I send it to
trash.
And more important, can I configure the gp0 and gp1 (which are use by
wisp628 ti proram the chip) pins as output ? Apparently, each time I
configure these pins as output, I can't program the chip anymore.

thanks

Guillaume,

I use a Wisp628 at work to re-program a 12F675 product which has LED's on
various outputs, it is potted so cannot remove the IC. The Wisp628 is used
because it is the only programmer that works, our PicStart & Promate will
not reprogram this product. To make the Wisp628 work I had to short out the
47R to the MCLR line

Regards

Ian

HI,

Thanks you very much for your explanation. It works well : I've been
able to flash my 12F675 without any problem.
I'll avoid me to buy another chip .

Thanks
