Microchip and piclist

It seems that my ISP filters messages with word 'sucks' on subject line so I
received no replies to my post :))

Anyway, Matt Pobursky said something about corporate policy that I would
like to comment. I think it's very simple. When I receive email from some
Microchip guy this is contained in that message:

*********************************
This e-mail and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended
only for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed and
under no circumstances are to be interpreted as an
agreement, contract, or implied contract between the sender or the
recipient.
If the reader of this message is not the intended recipient, you are hereby
notified that any use, dissemination, distribution, or copy of this e-mail
is strictly prohibited unless specifically directed so to do.
If you have received this e-mail in error, please notify the author by
return.
Any opinions expressed in this message are personal and may not be
attributed to Microchip Technology Inc.
Microchip will not be held liable for any cost incurred as a result of its
transmission or interpretation.
*********************************

Last two sentences can be used with every message sent by Microchip people
and noone will be fired or anything like that. Also, Yahoo keeps all of the
messages in its database so it's easy for lawers to check any message that
might cause some problem although I think it's not going to happen.

I think that this approach can solve problems with corporate policy that
Matt mentioned. Any lawers on piclist? We might use some comments on this :)

Regards,
Igor
