any one can help me in my project at rabbit BL2000(Measurement system for an oil storage tank).
Hi Mudasir,

What do you need?..Have you seen the examples of Dynamic C environment?

any one can help me in my project at rabbit BL2000(Measurement system for an oil storage tank).
I have less than 2 years experience in hardware designing and I was assign to use the schematics for the RCM6700 on digi.com to design necessary documents needed to manufacture 10- 15 mother/interface board. This board must have 3 UART, backup, and a Ethernet port. How difficult is it to accomplish this task with my level of experience? Or should I seek professional help, if so where? Thanks

Racq
You shouldn't have much difficulty. It's fairly straight forward. IMO, professional help (consultant) would be overkill.

You will have more than enough experience i had a very similar task within
3 months of starting work.

Look at the development kit schematics as a starting point, note that
serial B is used for the serial flash so avoid using that as an external
UART.

Good luck

Make sure to use their code examples, how to use Port A for stdio and yourio, Port B is a challenge, but works after all is loaded. Rabbits rock!

Thanks

Racq,

I think the RCM6700 manual includes a design guide section with things to be careful of, and in the past you could download schematics for the development boards.

I'd be very careful with the schematic and layout for the Ethernet connection in particular, and the physical layout of the for the Minicore module connectors. I believe you can buy small quantities of the Minicore connector from the digi.com website.

Thanks guys for all your advice but I notice my Eagle lib. or my google search shows no RCM6700 module lib. available. Also, other parts lib aren't available. Maybe I need to switch to PCAD for this design. Anyhow, I will seek help with this PCB layout.
