New Reward Program for Bloggers

Stephane BoucherApril 5, 20111 comment

When I launched the blogs section a couple of years ago, several individuals showed interest in blogging on the site, but most of the bloggers lost interest after a few posts (which I totally understand - people are busy), and the section never really gained momentum.

This time, in the hope to keep current and new bloggers motivated, I'll try to do things differently and will experiment with a new and what I believe to be a generous reward system. The rewards will be based on page impressions, meaning that the more traffic a blog post will get, the faster it will generate rewards for the author.

Basically, a given blog post will generate $25 to the author for every 250 unique pageviews, up to a maximum total reward of $500 per blog post (if and when the blog post reaches a total of 5,000 pageviews).

And 5,000 pageviews for a blog post is not out of reach at all. For instance, Gene Breniman's blog post titled VHDL tutorial - part 2 - Testbench has been viewed by more than 18,000 individuals (18,000 unique pageviews) since its publication.

If you'd like to share your knowledge with the Embedded Systems community through a blog on EmbeddedRelated.com, and potentially earn up to $500 per blog post, please contact us and describe in a few words the vision you have for you blog.

Happy Blogging!
