Embedded World 2018 - The Interviews
Once again this year, I had the chance to go to Embedded World in Nuremberg Germany. And once again this year, I brought my video equipment to try and capture some of the most interesting things at the show.
Something new this year, I asked Jacob Beningo if he would partner with me in doing interviews with a few vendors. I would operate the camera while Jacob would ask the right questions to the vendors to make them talk about the key products/features that they were presenting at their booths. To my delight, Jacob agreed and we managed to book three interviews: Percepio, Intrinsic ID and SEGGER.
I really like how the interviews turned out, please let me know what you think in the comments.
Intrinsic ID were at EW to present their innovative digital authentication solution for Embedded Systems. In this interview, Geert-Jan Schrijen co-founder and CTO of the company, explains how Intrinsic ID's solution leverages inherent manufacturing variations in chips to create unique IDs and keys.
Although SEGGER are very well known for their J-Link debug probe with hundreds of thousands of units in the field, Axel Wolf from SEGGER would like you to know that SEGGER's portfolio is much more than just debug probes. In the interview, you will also learn that embOS has been recently certified by 'TÜV SÜD' and can now be used in safety critical devices.
Percepio's main goal at this year's EW was to introduce/announce the launch of a new version for their flagship Tracealyzer debugging tool for RTOS based embedded systems. In the interview, CEO Johan Kraft talks about the new features and shows a quick demo with a drone.
