Code warrior Linker error

Started by YUQIN WANG September 10, 2007
Hi all,

When I was trying to write the config file from ST into the decoder, it gives me an error "Link error: L1102: out of allocation space in segemt SMRAM at address 0x1200" when I compile. Does anyone perhaps know how to fix it?

I use a UF32 MICRO.
Hello,
What I can tell is that there is not enough space in the SMRAM memory
area.
What you could try is to allocate more space (increasing the memory
range) of the SMRAM section in the linker .prm file until it links.
In any case (or once you get it linked): have a look at the generated
.map file what is using the space.
