Started by mosejos July 15, 2003
Hi, I am using the DP256 ad would like to know how the D-Bug12
v4.0.0b14 in POD mode works, I am trying to write firmware
similar to what the DBUG12 does to talk to a target board

hi:

i tried (in vain) to locate the source code. for reasons i can't fathom, the
source is apparently not available. there is a boot-loader that has the
source available that may contain what you need on the motorola site

DB12S12FW.zip (thanks to zeta_alpha2002 for the url)

regards,

Motorola's semiconductor offshoot is called "Free Scale
Semiconductor" ???

Several of us were at a Metrowerks presentation earlier this week, and the
Motorola guys there confirmed that the new semiconductor company identity
will be Freescale.

Part numbers for existing products are not supposed to change...

That was the implication...since Metrowerks develops the IDEs, compilers,
etc., for the silicon, they'll migrate to Freescale as well...

Presumably Metrowerks will move with Freescale and not sat behind with

It's Freescale (one word).

Didn't they know that they need a _unique_ name?

Well, it's slightly better than ON Semiconductor (IMHO).

Yes so I see - I have no problem with the name as long they don't
start having part number starting with "CLR"9S12... --- In , Oliver Betz <list_ob@g...> wrote:

I don't think they can use CLR, after all isn't that something you
use to Freescale from your kettle? --- In , "zeta_alpha2002" <zeta_alpha2002@y...>
