Hi,
Does anyone have a library for the ATMEL AT90S8535 in smd and 40 pin
DIL forms for Protel DXP?
I'd like to have a try at designing an LCD project to have some
practice with it.
Also, does anyone know of a good c compiler for this micro? I use c
and c++ exclusively at Uni on a 68HC12 so want to retain that
programming language but on a more manageable chip.
Thanks
Christine

You can get several C compilers for the AVR including GNU ported to
the Win 9x platform. A good source for tools and such including the
GCC download is www.avrfreaks.net . Also if you search for dontronics
he has a ton of info , neat products and links. Also they are in your
neck of the woods .
Eagle has all the AVR devices in librarys but I don't know protel
sorry.

Hi Christine,
There is a Protel AVR Library available at:-
http://www.mpfreezone.com/dnloads/tools/AVR.Lib
Not DXP, however, I will be surprised if you cannot use this.
