CooCox IDE

Started by ahmad alsaleem September 23, 2011
Hi,

I am planning new design and moving to LPC17xx.

I found that CooCox is providing complete IDE plus toolchain and RTOS.

Could someone help me on his opinion/experience with this IDE/OS. Should I use OpenOCD instead?

Thanks

An Engineer's Guide to the LPC2100 Series

I don't know about the OS or toolchains, but I'm using the LPC17xx in the
Keil IDE which is excellent.

One word of caution though, the latest CMSIS libraries for the LPC17xx seem
to have a bug in the UART making it generate the wrong baud rate, the older
libraries were working fine.

Regards

Phil.
