I concur, I have it running with Windows 7 64bit for both DynC 9.62 and DynC
10.64 without any issues. No need for compatibility mode with either of
them.

So, for those that responded positively to my question of how well DC
worked on Win7, perhaps you can explain why DC and the RFU don't work
work on Win7 when using a standard RS-232 port for communication.

I've even run DC in WinXP mode, and it still doesn't work with RS-232.

To clarify, its the version 10.xx series that doesn't work. DC 9.25
works fine over RS-232.

Hi Steve,

Sorry to see you are still having issues.

Sadly my PC doesn't have any native serial ports, like a lot of them these
days so I just use a USB to serial. My USB to Serial is connected via the
HUB on my Dell monitor and it works fine.

If you don't get any joy or answers, you might be just as easy to get a
USB-Serial and see if that works. I would stick with one that uses to FT232
or such like from FTDI as I have found these to be reliable with DC.

Cheers

Dave.
