We are using the R3000 on our own Board (no pin left).
Now I've read this post by chance, and I'm wondering
how long this uPC will be in production.
Are there any plans or informations about an end-of-life?

I would expect the R3000 to remain in production for quite some time,
but you can always purchase the Verilog source code and roll your own
in either an ASIC or an FPGA (the original is in a gate array). See
