Hello Folks I have been using CodeWarrior for HC12 development stuff, I would like to move to the gcc toolchain, I did dl the stuff, but getting started in that has been difficult. I would like to find out:- 1.) Is there a suitable IDE to go along with gcc? 2.) How can I flash and debug using this toolchain, the CW had a flasher and built in debugger, whats its equvilant. Is there any pitfalls/traps/tweaks need to be factored for this toolchain? Thanks Jay |

Jay, See my previous posting. You will likely need to get a commercial BDM. I think you wrote last month that your project is on a very tight schedule. In that case you may want to get also one full-emulator with a trace, so you can quickly resolve the nasty bugs. Indeed! I am yet to talk to managers and get a fat budget for some nice dev tools, for now I am stuck with low cost stuff. I will contact you off the list for some product infos.
