Hi, You can use AVR910 ATMEL Application note. I attach my old files, maybe you
can find newer one on www.atmel.com , it's a rs232 on board programmer
with all what needed.

CodeVision & AvrStudio support this programmer.

I use USBASP programmer whitch is a USB one [ see attached files ]
 be carful that AtMega128 uses RXD, TXD & SCK for programming.
