SPI comunication

Hello,

I just received a Triboard for the Infineon TC1766 Tricore
microcontroller.  I am trying to setup the SPI comunication with the
eeprom on the board, however there are no examples on how to configure
the micro.  Would anyone know where I can
get an example of SPI implementation for the Tricore??  I would
appreciate

Hi,

If you install DAvE from the CD or download it from Infineon's
website, you can configure the SPI from that.  There are lots of
tricks and tips for the TriCore on our website (www.hitexdesign.com)
if you're interested?

I've never used this chipset but SPI should be there i guess as its
quite popular interface even in low end devices.  If you have hardware
based interface then job would be very simple to configure and use.
And if its not then GPIO pins can do that for you. I think very first
you should get familiar with SPI protocol itself!
