... my weekly (?) email from TI the other day had a link to this interesting development kit, which consists of an MSP430 with integrated <1GHz transceiver, in a digital watch form factor. Also includes the PC USB dongle to talk to the transceiver side. http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/ez430-chronos.html?HQS=aec_ez430-chronos_091129&DCMP=mytinwsltr_11_28_2009 (tiny version: http://tinyurl.com/yg4ogn8 ) This is one of those kits I am itching to buy but cannot think of any useful purpose to which I could put it...
Speaking of interesting development kits...

I got a couple of some other ez430 kits to dress up a party costume last summer. Useless, but fun. And they worked very well considering I had to do the final integration and debugging in the woods (literally). BTW: I ran their tools (including USB dongle debugging) in an XP Parallels VM running on an Intel macBook with no problems. Have some fun! Bob
