This may be OT, apologies if so. I've tried to locate a group that caters particularly for PIC programming, my ISP doesn't seem to have one on the server. Maybe if there is a more appropriate resource someone could point me there. Anyway, here goes. I've just moved from many years of pleasure with HC11 onto PIC. The programmer is a WARP13a, a neat little unit that many readers probably know well, working with the native exe program suplied. With both my PCs it suffers from a known error "C1 comms error". The supplier website says that this will occur if software is too old, however my board and software are all 'latest release', less than 8 weeks from receipt. My guess is that the problem is due to delays in Windows responding to comms commands, I've seen it before with my own comms software. Does anyone have information on possible fixes for this specific device / problem? TIA
