Bluetooth connector

Started by Baxter January 22, 2006
I need to write data from my product using a Bluetooth connection. There
could be multiple devices connected. I will need to be able to connect to
either a PC or a Palm/PocketPC. I would expect that the BT module would act
as an RS232 replacement.

This will be a commercial application, but production volumes are low.

It give you a virtual com port (very easy to use ....) http://www.adeunis-rf.com/list_produits.php?lng=EN&gid=6&pid=ARF32+Data
This is along the lines of what I'm looking for, except:
1 - I was hoping for a US company, or at least a US distributor
2 - $60 each is a bit pricy for me
3 - PCB mounting method is not clear - I will need to hand-mount the module
on my PCB
