RT linux

i want to do a project to compare RT linux over normal linux. any place
where i can find the library files for RT linux for free. any other
ideas to compare the performance of RT linux over normal linux?
i just need to compare its performance on any parameter.

Make sure you get a version of RT linux, and a full version of linux
for the same target platform, or else the test is worthless.

Many embedded CPUs use some kind of reduced linux implementation, so
this is something you should research first.
