             Parallel Computing with FPGA's

A mini-symposium held in conjunction with the

ParaFPGA-2007 is a mini-symposium held in conjunction with the
Parallel Computing conference, ParCo2007 to be held in Juelich,
on 4-7 September 2007.

Field programmable logic provides a wealth of opportunities as
devices, e.g. as signal processor, systolic element, intellectual
block, advanced accelerator board and the like. Due to their
FPGA's are susceptible to several computing paradigms. During the
ParaFPGA one of the major paradigms is addressed: "Parallel Computing

Because of its adaptability as an enabling component in parallel
architectures, this symposium addresses all areas of FPGA's in
computing, in particular: methodology, performance analysis,
algorithms and applications.

Therefore you are cordially invited to participate and submit your
contribution to the ParaFPGA symposium. Topics include, but are not

- parallel computing techniques with FPGA's
- hardware/software co-design
- programming environments for FPGA's
- parallel languages and design tools for FPGA application development
- interconnection networks
- FPGA arithmetic
- Multi-FPGA cores
- performance evaluation
- embedded FPGA platforms
- FPGA-based parallel applications

Authors are invited to submit a full paper (max. 8 pages) or an
abstract (min. 2000 words) using the ParaFPGA server. Details
the format are given on the submission page.

Deadline for the paper submission is 15 May 2007
