That looks like a Jbug11 error message. Are you, in fact, now using Jbug11
as you suggested earlier? If so, have you posted your problem to the Jbug11
email group on YaHoo?

The author of Jbug11 is away from his office currently, but lurks on the
Jbug11 list and may be able to help you.

Do you have a schematic of the minikit board. Especially the communications
interface to the SCI port.

If so, I will look it over quickly and see if it has any obvious
shortcommings. Either post the URL here or attach the file and email it to
me directly. DO NOT email attachments to this list, all attachments will
wind up in the bit bucket.
