Crossconnect problem

Started by drproton2003 December 28, 2006
Hello everyone,

A while ago I got a cross connect unit from Rowley. Until now it has
worked flawlessly. The problem I am having now is that with a certain
project when I go to debug the download appears to run correctly but
after download crossworks immediately jumps to disassembly. At this
point I cannot do any further operations with the crossconnect. If I
try to download the project again or a different project I'll get a
"loader verify failed". The only way I've found to restore
functionality is to use flash magic to write a different program into
the LPC2148. To make things more confusing everything works just fine
with a wiggler, only slower.

Has anyone encountered a similiar problem? What is the solution?

An Engineer's Guide to the LPC2100 Series

I got it working, kinda. Turns out by increasing the clock divider
setting it works. However, I'd still like to know the root cause of
the problem.

You should not be using a clock divider with the LPC2000, you should be
using the Adaptive Clocking mode.
