Speaking of Wi-Fi, an SDIO Wi-Fi card could be a low cost solution (SDIO is SPI in simple terms). Sandisk and Socket makes such a SDIO Wi-Fi cards. The major issue here is rather the manufactureres don't give out the specification of the card. Tsvetan, Check out the errata sheet for the MCP2515. The defect that caught our attension was the one where can not use transmit object 2 or 3 with out possible loss of data.
