Plus Rowley's has a pretty liberal install policy so you are not
stuck installing on only one PC which makes it handy.

I'm a very biased and happy customer.

Wow why did this timer1 help post turn into a Piracy issue. Piracy sucks yes we all know. Thats that. You have a choice of clicking linking and downloading things that may have a virus and damage your whole system or paying the $150 for the software. Simple choice for me :D

Now im broke but can still use my PC :) YAY!

Because evidence has been posted in this thread that leads some of us to suspect that you are a software pirate.

The best comment on stealing software that I have seen was posted on a Delphi newsgroup recently:

It's really odd to me, but a lot of people do not view using cracked
software as theft. These same people also have no ethical issues with
illegally downloading music, movies, images, etc.

I know a guy that once complained to me that he couldn't find a certain
song that he wanted for download. I suggested he just go down to the
local store and stuff the CD inside his jacket. He said he would never
do that because it was stealing.

If you knowingly choose to take part in illegal activities that is your decision. However, do not be surprised if others are unwilling to help you when you get into difficulties.

It never ceases to surprise me the number of otherwise really good
people who dont feel guilty about stealing other peoples intellectual
property. At one level is the absurdity of software developers who steal
software, that really must be a case of biting the hand that feeds you.
At another is the cry that CDs are too
expensive, as if that were an excuse. Why is it that we dont frown
about middle class people stealing music (something that they can quite
easily live without), and yet someone hungry, or worse with hungry
children, stealing something off a supermarket shelf is dragged off by
the police with everyone frowning at them.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Routine_activity_theory makes interesting
reading, and perhaps explains this amoral behaviour somehow.

Did I miss something here? When did this become a question around illegal software? I thought it was simply about an issue with programming timer 1 and the simulator (which was added later)? I would certainly not advocate piracy but am a loss to see the connection to piracy in this thread.

Paul Curtis busted atomsoft at an Indian warez site shopping Crossworks
hacks...it was in one of the links.
And then atomsoft attempted to double down and Paul busted him again.

All very entertaining, although it would have been a lot funnier if they
weren't pirating from one of the good guys in the industry.

Amen on that. The Rowley guys are a great bunch and the CrossWorks IDE
is outstanding. I deal on and off with other consultants and
engineering groups and even when I'm not asked for an opinion on
development tools I proselytize tirelessly in support of the Rowley
tools.

Wow i didnt even notice the posters name. But how come that has to be me?

What makes you think thats me just because his name is AtomSoft?
How did you find that anyway?
Why where you on that site?
Are you too stupid to help me that you try to ruin my name?
There is no proof that is me.

I cant even see that guys email address. I bet you have to register to see it.
