Never read the Arts of War eh? :-)

CCE is the last thing I worry about. Arguing with someone on the list is
more troublesome :-)

I find it usually gives people a laugh, in an often dull and boring day,
why be normal, most greetings are rhetorical, and most responses are
mundanely boring and dishonest.

without
thinking, I did point out her mistake though.

Me too.

But some people put themselves up as such simple targets! :-) All
quiet in the switch flame war recently, so I declare I've won the battle
and the war--there's been no immediate response from the opposing
forces. Perhaps he's regrouping? ;-)

Perhaps others are intimidated as I am after jumping into the thread.
Being labeled "retarded" for questioning a point certainly gives one
pause.

Well, I never accused John of being retarded, only inaccurate. I still
believe his "facts" to be completely inaccurate in a number of cases,
as
I have shown. As Al says, this is a big world, and it's never
fair--life is what you make of it.

Hi Paul, it was actually Kris who called Lee retarded, but then again to
retard is to cause to move slowly, or to impede. All other negative
meanings have ultimately derived from this definition. perhaps the
implication is only negative if you choose to feel that way. Personally
I believe there is value in slowing down to think, perhaps then I might
be able to control my mouth in public. Of course I'm biased. I can't
run, I walk VERY slowly, I move with the speed of a striking slug, and
have no coordination to boot..

Always one to take the contrary opinion,

Al the retarded neo-Luddite

Hi Richard,

You're on the right track :
"If inferior, irritate him" ... :-) :-)
That'll turn into guerilla warfare, for the enemy will make mistakes.
And don't forget "Unagi" :-)

Cheers,
Kris

Right on the money my man.
The most irritating though I find "How do you do" ?
How do you do what ?

Once I said "on top", and the teller was embarrassed.....

> >Now I'll get back to my connubials.......
> Ever tried them with custard?

Nope, never.
But I heard rhubarb is in now. And I'm still wanting to be effluent....
While still on K&K, the paper said that the Poms greeted Kath & Kim very
well.
Apparently 2.5 Million tuned in to BBC2.

Kath : " Do you have something for your Orrefors ?"
Trude : " Yes, I have 2 flutes in my Orrefors "
Prue : " Do you want something in your Bodum ??"
Kath : " I beg yours ... ??!! ".
Kim (to Kath) : " Mum, do you want a .... trew .... for your .... carch ...
(wonders) ... " ?

I read that one UK reviewer said that it puts the Poms off from emigrating to
Oz, but 1/2 hour a
week with Kath & Kim is delicious.....

I'm still waiting to see the result on CCE of the switch timing and code I
proposed
to compare to the one produced by CW430.

There were other "facts" that were inaccurate, as I pointed out (and I
can
substantiate it anytime).
Even that can be viewed as "opinion-prone", but it's not. (even
vis-a-vis the CCE compiler)

As far as Lee is concerned, if you went through the trouble of attempting to
ridicule
me on a pointless and hollow subject, and in a futile manner, don't expect
pleasantries
from me.
In all the years I've been on this group, this would have to count for just
about the
only time I've reacted so strong, and I feel it warranted.
The rest is up to you.
