Crossworks help

Started by quaratie February 11, 2008
Hello,

I am using Crosworks 1.4 Build 1 with MSP-FET430UIF but cannot get the
debugger to work.

I get an "Can't identify target device: No error" message and it does
not connect.

If I try the CrossConnect it will connect but I get a verify error
after download.

The hardware is known good and so is the programming fixture.

I am using msp430f147.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Spawn of the devil, that FET430UIF.

That's what TI return to us. Make sure you've got the correct JTAG
interface style selected in your project.

I suggest you turn off Block Mode in the CrossConnect target interface.
Some MSPs have problems using block mode over JTAG.

I've never had any problems with the Olimex version of that I/F, I've always
been curious about that.
