Folks,
"Which compiler are you using?" was a poll which ran 8 years ago. Preferences
may have changed, so I'd like to re-run this poll. I have an interest in
this, because I'm retooling to MSP430s from PICs.
The 2003 list of compilers includes:
IAR
TI Code Composer Studio (CCStudio)
Imagecraft (ICC)
Quadravox
IDE430
MSPGCC
CrossWorks
Other
Please let me know the compilers you'd like to add to the list.
Once posted, the poll would run for 1 month.

I wonder if GCC should be split to msp430-gcc 3, 4, and uniarch.

I was just about to make the same comment. I say that it should.
Personally, I am running uniarch, so you can add +1 there.
And for those unaware, as of yesterday uniarch gained support for a
bunch of new chips, and is now capable of compiling for everything in
the G2 (Value Line) series among many others.

Prediction: This will tell you most are using Code Composer from TI's
"scorched earth" approach to marketing CCS. :-)

All,
Yeah, I sometimes use CCE. Can we have a second choice too?

I've developped my own assembler/compiler/decompiler based on win32Forth
for msp430 launchpad. Anyone interested in launchpad msp430g2231 can find
the assembler/compiler /disassembler here.
