Looking for small demo board for CC430F6147

Started by lslonim2 April 2, 2013
Hi. I have a friend who is looking for a small demo board for the CC430F6147. He's looking for a minimal system, just the basic parts to get it to run, with a PCB antenna and a few points to connect to a SPI peripheral.

He's doing a feasibility trial for a product and is hoping to avoid the fussy RF layout required, and the expensive assembly of the 0201 sized passives. The demo board from TI is too large for his product. He will be using 800/900 MHz band. The exact model is not critical, as long as it is the MSP430 radio instead of the 8051 radio.

I googled and didn't find anything. I was wondering if any forum members know of a board like this.

Thanks in advance,
Lloyd

Beginning Microcontrollers with the MSP430

The only thing I could find was
http://uk.farnell.com/amber-wireless/amb8423/rf-module-txrx-cc1101-ceramic-ant/dp/1642378+
http://www.ti.com/tool/ez430-rf2500. If you need something smaller you
probably need a custom board design... TI certainly has all the design
files/schematics for you to base a design on
I use RF development boards of TI EM430F6147RF900.It has two antennas for RF applications. If it helps http://www.ti.com/tool/em430f6147rf900

Thanks very much for the idea, this is the one I use now. All the connectors make it bigger than I would like. But so far it is the smallest one I can find.
