Hi, i'm looking for a supervisor IC with a watchdog timer and a threshold voltage of 2.25 or 2.20 V. I could only find the TPS3820-25 but that IC has 15 uA typ. which would increase the current consumption 5 - 10 times! Which other supervisor ICs do consume much less current? Regards Rolf F.

Today I got the uP supervisory analog design guide from MAXIM: MAX6746-MAX6753: 1.6uA, watchdog, monitors 1.8V to 5V fixed or adjustable. Didn't have a closer look at the datasheet. You could try TI TPS3110K33 1.2uA Supervisor with watchdog. It's a dual supervisor 3.3 and ADJ. Assuming you have a 3.3V source. http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/tps3110k33.html If you could skip the watchdog, by using the internal watchdog on the 430, TPS3836K2.5 . 200nA the typical threshold is 2.25V also has an Input for a switch. It was designed to work with a 430. http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/tps3838j25-q1.html --- In msp430@msp4..., "Rolf F." <rolf.freitag@d...> wrote: > Hi, > > i'm looking for a supervisor IC with a watchdog timer and a threshold > voltage of 2.25 or 2.20 V. > I could only find the TPS3820-25 but that IC has 15 uA typ. which would > increase the current consumption 5 - 10 times! > Which other supervisor ICs do consume much less current? > > Regards > > Rolf F.
