To all,
I read somewhere that freescale MCUs will be changed to little
endian. Anyone else seen this??? Any Ideas when and on what MCUs???

Alright, you have piqued my curiosity ....
Not everyone gets ESD and I can't seem to find it via google or yahoo. Is
this article available via the web?
Can anyone comment on the original questions?

Although the Power PC is already little endian, I tend to side with
the April Fools explanation. Especially since another part of that
same article talked about replacing the Internet with Federal
Express trucks.
Although, I love the following quotation, even if it is probably
made up:
"I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my
telephone. My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my
telephone." Attributed to Bjarne Stroustrup
Just out of curiousity, do our non-European, non-Gregorian/Julian
calendar using members know about April Fool's Day?

In the same spirit of agreement, and with the context of the original
post in mind, I would like to add that I think Freescale have as
little hope of going little endian as Signetics do of ever delivering
the ROM (Write-Only Memory). Does anybody else remember that one,
supposedly good for storing don't-care states and bit-buckets?
cheers

Oh yes, down in the land of Oz you have bats too, and sometimes they
cross-breed.

They are perfect examples of the pre-electrical biological systems
discovering the importance of grounding before EEs got around...
