Hello, I use 9S12E64 and internal flash for Booter and external flash for application. Because there's no data EEPROM, Application uses internal flash area (1sector) for NVM data. Currently I use softec InDART BlazeProgrammer, and it seems it only support mass erase. So, If I want to update Booter, Application's NVM datas are also erased. Is there any programmer I can use for this environment? I want to erase only Booter area when I upgrade Booter. regards, namsh |

You might look at Prog12Z programming from P&E microsystems. You can do
what you are asking and you can also set up an init file or run it from the
command line to automate some of the commands required to only erase parts of
the memory. Hi, We are working to add the feature which allow to program separately each Flash block, the new setup will come out soon. If you register your inDART-HCS12 version at the Softec Microsystems web site a free newsletter will inform you about new releases.
