SDconfig problem

I bought the eZ DSP TM320F2812, ok cool! I set the port to 0x378 in SPP8 mode, to verify I got this
$$ You are connected to:
$$ EmuProductName=XDS510PP_PLUS
$$ EmuPortAddr=0x378
$$ EmuPortMode=SPP8
$$ ProductId
$$ ProductVersion

but when I try to test the emulator I got this message:
** Emulator Test **
$$ EmuProductName=XDS510PP_PLUS
$$ EmuPortAddr=0x378
$$ EmuPortMode=SPP8
$$ ProductId
$$ ProductVersion
** Emulator Scan Test
ERROR >> JTAG IR scan test failed

>> Check power to your emulator/eZdsp
>> Then check your port mode/address

I notice that the DATA log it has the path for:
binary file:c:\ti\specdig\examples\F28xx\dlog\sddlog and
status file:c:\ti\specdig\examples\F28xx\dlog\dlstat.txt
but, since Im using the CCs v3.1 I dont have this directory, and also I bought the CCs IDE (C2000). It suppose that it is enough with this CD or the one that is included in the starter kit, that is CCs 3.1 too.

Somebody could help me to figure it out this issue!!!!!

I have a very similar problem here too, after erasing the contents of the flash on my hw platform I could not use JTAG to reflash it again with similar problems:

sd config output:

** Emulator Test **
$$ EmuProductName=XDS510USB
$$ EmuPortAddr=0x510
$$ EmuPortMode=USB
$$ ProductIdQ0
$$ ProductVersion
** Emulator Scan Test
ERROR >> JTAG IR scan test failed
Any help is very much appriciated!
