What I mean by a software emulator is, an application that runs on a desktop/laptop where some favor of MSP430 code can be run and tested, as if it was running on the actual chip. Hope that makes sence.

TI MSP430 question: Is there a software emulator for this chip?

I use my FET tools usually, so I have to turn that off in a new project. But sometime in the past I believe I used the simulator and if memory serves it works okay so far as it is able. If you are talking about supplying vectors to the simulator, though, I don't think so. Jon
