Hi, Pelos. Do you know about any others not listed? I've dabbled with the Asix; being a NE2000 look-alike made finding driver examples easier, though it's got an annoying little defect in the Phy that delays the init process. Even still, I was surprised at the amount of effort to get the init right, and amazed that the mfr didn't provide reference drivers (at least not at the time), since it was not quite 100% NE2000-compatible. Check out edtp.com for proto boards - cheaper than ordering samples from Taiwan. Cheers, Richard

Check the Microchip ethernet IC "ENC28J60".  It's great!.  And it=20
comes with TCP/IP source code.
