Most of the areas where Solaris is used cost is not the primary driver. It is reliability BTW there are free versions of Solaris. I run them here. Huh? What about Sun's OpenSolaris project then? http://opensolaris.org/os/ It states "The OpenSolaris project is an open source community and a place for collaboration and conversation around OpenSolaris technology." -- Paul.
