Hello, I use the BX35 and I need a replacement AT25256 or AT25256A memory module. Atmel does not recommend either one of these chips in new designs. Most suppliers do not carry any stock anymore. I need the DIP form factor. I have tested the ON Semiconductor CAT25256LI-G and it seems to work well without any modifications to my circuit design. Also the Microchip 25AA256-I/P seems to be comp...

I have 4 new DS1302 chips and 4 new 32khz watch crystals intending to make a persistent RTC for my BX35 project. Problem is that after finally connecting all the stuff together on a breadboard and programming up a simple test routine I do not get healthy results. One of the DS2302's will count up the seconds register but appears to take from 4 to 8 (variable

Most of the times I got a EEPROM Checksum error, which puzzled me a lot since I have been using the same design over and over. After a different test I noticed that the chip wasn't anym
