It sounds like you followed his advice and got it functioning for yourself
without help. (Much better than getting help if you are clever enough to do

There is a long chain of hardware and software functions to read an
ADC, calibrate and format the reading for display, and place the
result on a display. The chain doesn't work. Only you can determine
what link(s) in the chain is/are broken.
Your options are: 1) quit; 2) dive in and learn what microcomputer
programming is all about.
