Yes, You have to pay $495 for MicroBlaze but with that you also get the tools and
around 30 peripherals.

Yes I have access to the source of a multitasking version of MSDOS.
To run MSDOS you really need 256K of RAM.

Ah, the momories.
I worked with Transputers - I worte an OS for high speed data gathering and control for an automotive application.
The high priority processes would execute...
