I am a student at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. I am in a senior design class where we are trying to add a different EEPROM to a BasicX-24 board. Looking at help you previously gave via the yahoo groups forum, we believe we have figured out how to connect the EEPROM to the board. However, I would be very greatful if you could look over the attached schematic and let me kno

Hello, I wanted to use an Atmel 25256 EEPROM with a BasicX 35. Unfortunately according to Mouser this chip has been discontinued (both voltage variants). They recommended the ST M95256. It is SPI with 32K and seems pin compatible. Has anyone here used a non-Atmel EEPROM? I would suspect they are fairly standard and should be interchangeable but I wan

Hello, I am trying to access an ATMEL 24C512 EEPROM and am having quite a bit of difficulty. I think have everything wired correctly and the BX24 seems to be sending out the correct pulses but I'm getting nothing back from the EEPROM. When I wait for it's acknowledgement, nothing happens. I am pulling up both SCL and SDA and the BX24 can pull them down but the memory never changes ...

I have been trying to put and retrieve data into the LCDX Eeprom. I have looked at many examples, guides and programs for doing that. I have tried the Put/Get Eeprom, Persistent Peek/Poke and the NewPersistentType approach and nothing seems to work for the LCDX. The following method is what I am currently using at module level: Public Rt0 As New PersistentByte = 70 Dim Rt as Byte Rt = RT0...

Just bought my first BX-35 and am just a bit overwhelmed. I have seen posts referring to using 64k EEPROMS but don't seem to be able to assemble all the details I need to determine if I can use them and how I would need to connect them. Ideally I would want to run program code from a 64k EEPROM and also be able to read and write data in a separate 64k EEPROM
