Has anyone tried connecting 2 USB slave(?) devices to each other? I'm tinkering with a DLP-TXRX RS-232 to USB module with hopes of converting a product from RS-232 to USB. I hope this doesn't sound as stupid to you as it does to me. I've been asked to interface with a device that used to have a simple RS232 interface and has been "improved" to USB. Of course, in the USB world the device is the slave and the assumed Windoze PC at the other end of the wire is assumed to be the master with the "USB drivers" loaded

I can do that without any problems with older GPS equipped with a serial port, but how can I do that with USB model? Are there any cheap onboard module that would convert USB to a serial with TTL levels?
